Position Description: Post-Doctoral Fellow
Join the CEHHS DEI Team! The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences’
(CEHHS) Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) seeks to hire one (1) post-doctoral
fellow. This position will undertake a research agenda focused on local, state, and national
issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.

influence, improve, and inspire a healthy, educated, socially just, and vibrant society.
Responsibilites
• Work with the director to develop an interdisciplinary research agenda for the DEI Office
• Engage with the DEI team and work independently to achieve the office’s research agenda.
• Identify critical issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in postsecondary education.
• Identify request for proposals and develop proposals to secure external funding that support the office’s research related to its vision and mission.
• Coordinate information, presentations, and communication for various meetings, and university departments.
• Work closely with the DEI team and director to publish scientific articles and present research and practice findings at national research conferences/meetings.

Required Qualifications
• Earned PhD or equivalent degree in higher education, leadership, policy, critical studies, or closely related field.
• Excellent quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methodology research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, team coordination, and reporting skills.
• Documented proficiency with DEI principles and topics.
• Evidence of potential to develop, conduct, and publish scholarly research directly related to the Office’s vision and mission and the ability to pursue external funding.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of constituencies including staff, students, faculty, and community partners.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, SPSS, web-based surveys, and other
technologies required to fulfill role.
