The Campus Y Hub for Social Justice at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring an Assistant Director of Civic Engagement.
The Assistant Director of Civic Engagement assists the Director of the Campus Y with overall leadership of the organization, particularly focused on supporting a team of professional staff, graduate and undergraduate staff and interns, and undergraduate student leaders of the Executive Board and Cabinet to guide best practices for local and global, ethical service, civic engagement, and cross-cultural competencies. The Assistant Director will supervise and direct the Global Gap and Bridge Year Program and full-time staff, oversee Global Gap Year Fellowship (GGYF) selection process and partnerships. The Assistant Director will play a pivotal role in providing co-curricular leadership and student development support in the areas of local and global ethical service, civic engagement, and community partnerships across Campus Y programming.
