Case Study Competition Sign-Up
Deadline to Register: February 1, 2022
The NASPA Graduate Case Study Competition is an opportunity for graduate students to showcase skills and knowledge of the field of student affairs. Graduate students may form a team to participate in NASPA’s virtual case study competition. Participants will review, analyze, and respond to a case. Participants will have one week to complete and submit their case studies. Participants will submit their cases via YouTube link to Shanna Smith on or before Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Presentations should include a review of ethical, moral, and legal considerations that influenced the team’s response. The winning case study team will present their findings at the 2022 Annual Conference.
- Teams should be comprised of 2 to 3 current graduate students and must include a faculty sponsor.
- Up to 12 teams will compete. Each team will analyze, evaluate, and provide solutions to a thought-provoking case relevant to the field of student affairs.
- Judges will review the cases and score based on a rubric.
- Winners will be announced no later than March 4, 2022.
- Winning teams will earn bragging rights and have an opportunity to present at NASPA’s annual conference in 2022.
